Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine PhysicianTHE LOCATION
Choice of Houlton, Patten, Dover-Foxcroft, Millinocket, Ashland or Brownville, Maine Ready for a change? Our health center is currently hiring dedicated family medicine and outpatient internal medicine physicians that are committed to providing quality health care services to the people in Central/Northern Maine. As a result of our continued growth we are looking for a candidate to provide services in our clinics. This is an outpatient only opportunity and allows limited call and no nights/weekends/holidays. The physician will provide quality primary medical care and emergency treatment to patients while participating in appropriate supervision, coordination, and implementation of health care programs and procedures. The physician will supervise non-physician practitioners and work as part of the care team to ensure effective and quality care is given to the patient.BENEFITS

QUALIFICATIONS:
- State of Maine licensed or ability to become licensed in the State of Maine
- Board certified in family medicine or internal medicine
- Active DEA License
- Residency trained in family medicine or internal medicine
- Experience and active support for rural, community oriented primary care
- Ability to provide primary supervising physician responsibilities to PAs and FNPs
- Experience and willingness to work with an undeserved population
