Job Description

Physician - Internal Medicine - Primary Care Description MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine is seeking a Full-Time BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at our office based MaineHealth Primary Care Internal Medicine Practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team including physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP), working together with outstanding support staff. MaineHealth Primary Care services provide office based primary care medicine services and preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular services and serve a population of approximately 40,000. The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships. In addition to an annual base salary, the compensation model for physicians at MaineHealth offers significant additional income potential. Call requirements are 1:12 and the position offers teaching opportunities of nurse practitioners/physician assistants as well as medical students from University of New England's UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School program. MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is a 25-bed, critical-access hospital with a 50-member medical staff, with patient volume drawing from a wide geographic region with 40,000 people.
Minimum Qualifications :
MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
