Lewiston, Maine Position Overview Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Hospitalist (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join its inpatient care team serving the Central Maine region. This physician will provide comprehensive hospitalist coverage across three affiliated hospitals within the system.

Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC)

• Lewiston, Maine Bridgton Hospital (BH)
• Bridgton, Maine Rumford Hospital (RH)

To learn more, visit www.cmhc.org. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care including admissions, daily rounds, consultations, and discharges for hospitalized adult patients. Coordinate patient care with specialists, nursing teams, case management, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality and efficient care delivery. Collaborate with emergency department physicians regarding admissions and patient management. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system. Support clinical quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and system-wide protocols aligned with the standards of Prime Healthcare. Provide coverage across the three hospital campuses as part of an integrated hospitalist team. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Eligible for or able to obtain a Maine medical license. Active DEA registration. Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills. Pay Transparency Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $248,000 to $310,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
