Pediatrician - Community-Based Pediatrics HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician for an established community-based healthcare organization in the Greater Fort Fairfield area of Northern Maine. This opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive pediatric care within a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center supported by an integrated regional healthcare network. The organization brings primary care, specialty medicine, behavioral health, dental care, diagnostic services, rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and hospital services together to provide coordinated care for local families. Full-time, part-time, and contract arrangements may be considered. Position Highlights Community-based pediatric practice Established Federally Qualified Health Center Annual compensation of $190,000-$300,000 Full-time, part-time, and contract options Integrated healthcare network Collaborative physicians and clinical professionals Access to primary, specialty, diagnostic, and hospital services Broad pediatric patient population Supportive, mission-driven environment Meaningful opportunity to improve healthcare access in Northern Maine Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents Conduct newborn, well-child, preventive-care, and follow-up visits Perform developmental, behavioral, and age-appropriate health screenings Diagnose and treat common acute pediatric illnesses and injuries Manage chronic pediatric medical conditions Provide immunizations and preventive-health counseling Monitor childhood growth and developmental milestones Educate parents and caregivers regarding treatment, nutrition, safety, and disease prevention Order and interpret laboratory testing and diagnostic studies Coordinate referrals with pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical records Participate in quality-improvement and population-health initiatives Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics Active Maine medical license or eligibility to obtain one Strong pediatric clinical judgment and communication skills Commitment to accessible, family-centered care Ability to collaborate effectively across an integrated healthcare network Interest in serving children and families within a rural community Compensation and Benefits Annual compensation range: $190,000-$300,000 Starting compensation based on experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and market conditions Competitive benefits package Benefits may vary based on employment status Additional employment details provided during the interview process Living and Working in Northern Maine Northern Maine offers affordable communities, less congestion, four-season recreation, and a strong sense of connection between physicians and the families they serve.
