JN•072026-38128 Locums Hematology Oncology Physician in Waterloo, Iowa•Two Weeks Monthly, Light Call Build your assignment around two weeks of monthly coverage with a primarily clinic-based hematology and oncology workload and limited hospital involvement. Highlights Two weeks of coverage per month Hospitalists handle admissions Two advanced practice providers with no supervision required Practice & Cases Adult hematology and oncology clinic with infrequent inpatient consults 16-20 clinic patients per day Consults, follow-up care, and oversight of antineoplastic therapy Nursing, referral, triage, lab, social work, and dietitian resources Schedule Typically Monday through Thursday Eight-hour daytime shifts Potential phone call coverage one week and one weekend per month Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board certification in Hematology and Oncology required Active Iowa license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification required BLS and DEA required Logistics Airfare and lodging provided Rental car and mileage provided We can review the two-week monthly schedule and phone-only call expectations to see how they fit your availability.
