The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, across a broad spectrum of health issues, ensuring optimal health outcomes. From preventive visits and chronic disease management to the evaluation and treatment of acute concerns. Your expertise will help guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of complex medical conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, to establish accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems effectively to document patient encounters, manage medical records, and coordinate care. Collaborate closely with specialists across disciplines such as cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, dermatology, radiology, and others to ensure comprehensive patient care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory work, medical imaging, and other diagnostic radiology procedures to inform clinical decisions. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and adhere to all safety protocols including infection control and aseptic techniques during procedures such as suturing or IV infusion. Prescribe and manage medications, including refills and treatment adjustments. Perform appropriate in-office procedures within the physician's training and scope of practice. Collaborate with medical assistants, care coordinators, and administrative staff to support safe, efficient patient care. Qualifications MD or DO degree and board certification in Internal Medicine Active Michigan medical license and DEA registration Comfortable providing care in both primary care and urgent care settings Ability to manage a busy schedule in a fast-paced environment Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Fluency in English & Arabic Experience Post-residency experience in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency rooms is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Athena or similar platforms for documentation and care coordination. Experience managing complex cases involving multiple specialties.
