Monday-Friday clinic schedule Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing cardiology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists in a collaborative environment while providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Comprehensive training and mentorship are available for providers transitioning into cardiology, and new graduates with a strong interest in the specialty are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions. Perform patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Participate in hospital rounds and outpatient clinic visits. Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications Required Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license, or ability to obtain before start. DEA license or ability to obtain upon hire. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous cardiology experience is preferred but not required. Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is a plus. New graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are welcome to apply.
