Job Description

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center is offering a rare opportunity to assume a stable, physician-friendly outpatient rural health practice. The practice offers immediate income security with the benefit of a schedule which allows you to build real patient relationships. You could join a professional group of mission-minded people serving their community in our Patient Centered Medical Home designated office. We are a Press Ganey 2025 Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award winner, putting us in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering Physician Experience. Our independent Critical Access Hospital operates four rural health clinics across three counties in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The practices are supported by LPNs, Medical Assistants, on-site referral coordinators, on-site Chronic Care coordinators, remote psychiatrist consultations, and a leadership team ready to help you be successful in your efforts to assist your patients in reaching their health and wellness goals. With limited call, strong clinical support, and meaningful leadership growth through APP supervision, this opportunity is built for physicians who want autonomy, balance, and a rewarding path forward.
