Job Description

A leading cardiovascular program in Petoskey, Michigan seeks a Locums Electrophysiology Cardiology Physician to provide ongoing clinic and EP lab coverage. This is a weekday-only position with no nights, weekends, or call.
Schedule and Coverage Coverage:
~3 weeks per month
Days:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Setting:
Outpatient clinic and electrophysiology lab Onsite daily coverage for clinic and EP lab; no nights, weekends, or on-call duties
EMR:
Cerner Clinical Responsibilities Provide electrophysiology consultations and follow-up care Evaluate and manage cardiac rhythm disorders Perform EP procedures (EP studies, ablations) and manage device therapies (pacemakers, ICDs) Interpret ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, and electrophysiology testing Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, nursing staff, and cath lab personnel Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner Deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care Patient Volume ~20 outpatient clinic patients per day Two dedicated EP lab days per week Required Experience and Skills Demonstrated independent EP procedural experience (studies, ablations, device management) Strong knowledge of arrhythmia management and cardiac device therapy Comfortable with outpatient and procedural patient populations Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology preferred Active Michigan medical license and DEA registration required
