Job Alerts Position Summary:
Under supervision of RN preceptor completes patient care assignments within a reasonable length of time, meeting the obvious needs of the patient. .
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Under supervision of RN preceptor: Completes patient care assignments within a reasonable length of time, meeting the obvious needs of the patient. Contributes to the development of patient problem list using the nursing process: A. achieve established nursing care goals and/or B. prevent further pathophysiology and/or C. correct pathophysiology and/or D. maintain function. Identifies patient's ongoing and discharge teaching needs. Demonstrates competency and knowledge in performing basic skills. Responds to real or simulated emergency and disaster situations according to established procedure. Maintains a safe patient care environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Successful completion of an accredited school of nursing program by start or transfer date
  • Will be required to take the State of Michigan Licensure Examination within 60 days of your hire or transfer date. o If RN Licensure is not obtained, GN would require employee to apply for and be accepted into another position within thirty (30) days or employment is terminated.
  • BLS and/or Canadian equivalent by
