Job/Practice Description:
Orthopedic Surgery Broad generalist role: fracture care, joint procedures, general orthopedic cases Basic sports medicine component: knee/shoulder arthroscopy, ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs Opportunity for community or athletic team coverage Typical schedule: 2-3 clinic days and 2-3 OR days per week Immediate surgical volume with robust elective arthroscopy and soft-tissue cases Inpatient surgeries at the main campus; outpatient cases at a nearby surgery center Flexible group block time, with access to open block time from colleagues Low-burden ER call: 3-5 shifts per month (~48 days/year), taken from home with standard callback; unassigned shifts compensated separately Hospitalist/Trauma services handle primary inpatient admissions, with orthopedics as surgical consultant
Requirements:
