We service patients across metro Detroit and suburbs. Interested candidates will have total flexibility in determining the days and hours that they wish to practice, as patients can be seen on a weekday or weekend basis. Patient visits will be organized for you, so that your schedule will optimize the number of patients that you can see within a limited geographic area. This is a great opportunity for a physician who needs a little more flexibility with their schedule, or just wants a work/life balance! Responsibilities of the
MD/DO:
The MD/DO provider must work efficiently to provide quality primary care in the post acute setting such as examine patient to diagnose injuries and illnesses, provide treatment, and actively promote preventative care. Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, agency nurses, other providers, and vendors as necessary to assure proper diagnosis and treatment. Assess complex individuals using a range of different diagnostic methods. Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination. Ensure efficient and thorough documentation of visits as required per Medicare guidelines. The MD/DO is responsible for signing care plans, PT/OT, nursing orders, medical equipment, and all required documents, such as Face-To-Face Encounter, Plan of Care forms, etc... Review and follow up with labs and diagnostic orders and determine appropriate treatment regimen. You will have the support of team staff for scheduling visits, interfacing with patients, processing orders, prescriptions and various other duties as needed in the healthcare delivery system. MD Requirements:
Must possess valid Medical license or be license eligible in State of Michigan. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred Ideal candidate should show high level of professionalism, excellent people skills, show empathy and compassion, and deliver high quality care.
