Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments to diagnose a variety of health conditions using advanced diagnostic tools such as medical imaging and EMR/EHR systems. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, procedural interventions like suturing or catheterization, and lifestyle counseling. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams—including specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, oncology, and more—to coordinate patient care and optimize health outcomes. Utilize electronic health records (EHR systems) such as Epic to document patient histories, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately and securely in compliance with HIPAA standards. Perform specialized procedures such as airway management, pain medicine interventions, or minimally invasive surgeries when necessary. Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve evidence-based practices within your specialty area. Provide education and guidance to patients on disease prevention, health coaching, immunizations, and chronic disease management like diabetes or hypertension. Qualifications Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine. Post-residency experience across multiple specialties such as internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology, or surgery is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical imaging interpretation is advantageous. Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis techniques, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Hands-on experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures or interventional radiography is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across various disciplines to deliver exceptional patient care. Experience in inpatient settings such as hospital medicine or ICU environments; familiarity with Level I/II trauma centers is desirable. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service and education. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and relevant procedural certifications are required.
