We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 42-day assignment in Michigan, starting Sep 14, 2026. This inpatient-focused role requires strong respiratory/critical care experience, including advanced procedures like intubation, ventilator management, and various line insertions. You will be instrumental in managing complex cases and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the assignment. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 100% inpatient care with respiratory/critical care experience. Perform Moderate Sedation. Conduct Lumbar Puncture. Perform Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation. Execute Paracentesis/Thoracentesis. Manage Ventilator Management, including assessing readiness for and administering respiratory weaning/oxygen therapy and extubation, and assessing need for intubation. Perform Chest Tube Insertion. Insert PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down. Perform Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral). Provide Tracheostomy Care, including tube change. Manage Tension pneumothorax in emergent situations. Perform External pacing, including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary. Additional Information Board Certification in Hospital Medicine required. Experience with Epic EMR system. Respiratory/critical care experience with procedures is mandatory for this 100% inpatient role. Proctoring of 5 procedures is required for certain privilege requests.
