Why this role stands out Join a nine-physician benign hematology group caring for a wide range of rare and complex disorders: bleeding and clotting, red cell disorders and hemoglobinopathies, iron and platelet disorders, TTP, complement-mediated disease, porphyrias, telomere biology disorders, and more Practice alongside one of the oldest and largest federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Centers in the U.S. Grow your research with a strong clinical trial infrastructure and expanding work in gene therapy and novel therapeutics Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows, with T32 and K-award pathways already in place 50+ years of UMN leadership in non-malignant hematology What you'll do Inpatient and outpatient care for patients with benign hematologic disorders Develop or lead clinical trials, translational studies, or lab-based research Teach across the Medical School and help grow classical hematology services What we're looking for Completed ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Hematology fellowship Board eligible or certified in Hematology Eligible for Minnesota medical license and DEA Interest in hemostasis/thrombosis, red cell disorders, hemoglobinopathies, gene therapy, TTP, complement disorders, rare diseases, or trial development is a plus Compensation and benefits Base salary range $270,000 to $465,407, based on experience, qualifications, and cFTE Strong 401(k) employer contribution, well-being program, and CME, license, board, and DEA fee allowance Comprehensive University benefits including low-cost medical, dental, and pharmacy plans Life in Minneapolis-St. Paul Consistently ranked among the best places to live in the U.S., with great schools, a strong food and arts scene, an international airport, and lakes, parks, and bike trails you can enjoy year-round.
