3002584379-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Generalist OB/GYN Physician to deliver comprehensive women's health care across clinic and hospital settings. Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care; perform gynecologic exams, procedures, and minimally invasive surgery; and manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based, data-informed practices. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leverage advanced analytics and technology, support quality and value-based care initiatives, and help improve outcomes and affordability for diverse patient populations in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services Perform gynecologic exams, procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and preventive care Develop and implement evidence-based, data-informed treatment plans to improve patient outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Optum and United Health Group Document care accurately in electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance Participate in quality improvement, population health, and value-based care initiatives Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and chronic condition management Supervise or mentor advanced practice providers, residents, or students as applicable Required Skills Obstetrics and gynecology clinical practice Prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care Gynecologic surgery and procedures Ultrasound interpretation (OB/GYN) Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Evidence-based and data-informed clinical decision-making High-risk pregnancy management Patient counseling and education Regulatory and compliance knowledge in healthcare Interdisciplinary team collaboration
