Emergency Medicine Job Details:
Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians who are board certified in ABEM Locum need is equivalent of 5-7 FTEs beginning September 2026 Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends Preference for providers open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated freestanding emergency rooms Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts Shift times include: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12:00 PM 10:00 PM, 3:00 PM 1:00 AM, 7:00 PM 5:00 AM, and 9:00 PM 7:00 AM All standard emergency room procedures required Required certifications: ABEM board certification, ATLS (at least once in career), ACLS, and PALS Level II Trauma Center with transfers limited to plastics/hand (some coverage), neuro interventional radiology, and pediatrics Average patient census of 170 with most common cases being trauma (mainly blunt) and a mix of all patient types Annual emergency room admission rate of 24% Neurology and psychiatric robots utilized on unit
