In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric care to diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages—including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—manage mental health conditions, develop treatment plans, and improve their overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through comprehensive patient assessment, evidence-based therapy, and medication management while working within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across various age groups and clinical settings Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy Provide crisis management and immediate intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or complex behavioral health needs Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed clinical notes Engage in telehealth sessions to expand access to mental health services for remote or underserved populations Participate in intake assessments, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient care to ensure optimal outcomes Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry Post-residency experience in behavioral health settings, including inpatient and outpatient clinics Expertise in pediatric psychiatry, geriatrics, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Proficiency in psychopharmacology, diagnostic evaluation, and mental health counseling techniques Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management Experience with crisis management protocols and addiction counseling approaches Telehealth experience preferred; ability to adapt to digital platforms for remote patient care Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, families, and healthcare teams Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through compassionate psychiatric care.
