Job Description Administrative Duties:
Prepares and coordinates meetings and activities of Radiology staff and department Responsible for the administrative and technical management of the department to provide quality patient care. Oversee staff and procedures
Budget:
Oversees West Point Radiology Department budget development and supervises staff to maintain fiscal accountability of budget
Liaison:
Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction Ensures high quality health care is delivered at the West Point Facility and Radiology Department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers
Reporting:
Prepares and presents operational and financial reports/projects as required
Regulation :
Responsible for State, Local, and Federal radiation standards requirements. Adheres to
NMHS/NMMC
Policies/Procedures/Guidelines Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
Requirements:
Graduate of AMA approved school. Registered by ARRT, highly desirable that the incumbent have 5 years previous experience in management and various technical experience in Radiology, C.T., Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. Mississippi Medical Technical License Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required Knowledge of health management policies, personnel management, and Joint Commission Standards Must have current CPR certification. Excellent interpersonal skills; required Requirements The following are requirements in addition to any stated in the above description.
