2997547924-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Family Medicine with Obstetrics Mississippi Delta $285,000 Guaranteed Salary Current Physicians Earning Over $400,000 Annually $100,000 in Recruitment Incentives A community hospital in the Mississippi Delta is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician with obstetrics training or experience to join its hospital-employed practice in Indianola, Mississippi. This position combines a broad primary care practice with obstetrical care, established patient demand, and support from experienced physicians and advanced practice providers. Practice Overview Join a 49-bed general acute care hospital serving Indianola and surrounding Mississippi Delta communities. Provide comprehensive primary care, including chronic disease management, acute visits, women's health, and office-based procedures. Maintain obstetrical skills, with high-risk deliveries transferred to Jackson, Mississippi Participate in teaching through a regional Surgical OB Fellowship program . Schedule & Coverage Monday-Friday clinic hours, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with one half-day off each week. Rotating Saturday morning coverage, 8:00 a.m.-noon. Saturday coverage rotates approximately 1:4 , with clinic coverage and OB backup responsibilities. Compensation & Benefits $285,000 guaranteed salary Current physicians are earning over $400,000 annually. $100,000 in recruitment incentives , including direct student loan repayment and sign-on bonus 40 workdays of annual leave for vacation and CME combined. 7 days of sick leave. Comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications MD or DO. Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine. Obstetrics training or relevant OB experience. Interest in building a long-term practice and serving a community with substantial healthcare needs.
