Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Mississippi - No Call, Fast Credentialing
Job Description
Interventional Radiology locums coverage in Mississippi with on-site daytime reading and procedures, no call for the locum, and a quick credentialing pathway for a fast start. Highlights No call required Fast credentialing; emergency or temporary privileges can be completed in a couple of days Minimum 2 full onsite days per week, with flexibility to cover 2 to 3 days per week and potential to add more over time Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and outpatient IR, with onsite reading Adult-predominant patient mix, occasional pediatrics present in the ED but typically transferred elsewhere Support includes an IR lead, PACS administrator, rad tech support, and nursing support Hospital-wide imaging volume is about 150 studies per day, including about 50 ED or STAT studies Schedule Weekday daytime coverage, onsite Scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Minimum commitment is 2 full days per week onsite; they are targeting 2 to 3 days per week Cases and Procedures Must be onsite to read and perform diagnostic mammograms Breast biopsies and needle localizations make up the majority of volume Fluoroscopy, drainages, dialysis access and cath lab work, and other IR procedures Requirements Must be an MD or DO Mississippi medical license in hand; or active IMLC Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology DEA and Fluoroscopy certification If you can cover at least 2 onsite days per week with no call, reach out and we can compare your availability with their quick start timeline.
