Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical coverage (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated support team What You'll Do Provide OB hospitalist coverage for a busy facility with approximately 884 annual births Manage normal and emergent OB/GYN cases in a Level 1 NICU environment Collaborate with hospital staff and care teams, including backup for OB/GYN on-call Document patient encounters efficiently using Epic EMR Assist with delivery and postpartum care as needed Support the hospital's maternal health services, including GYN-related duties when required What You Need Active medical license in Mississippi or willingness to obtain Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN Prior experience in OB hospitalist roles preferred Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent hospital in Meridian, MS, providing Level 1 Basic NICU services. The facility handles a variety of obstetric cases, with in-house anesthesia available 24/7. The hospitalists support a vibrant maternal health program, with an estimated 15 patient encounters per month directly related to hospitalist care, and approximately 184 encounters unrelated to deliveries.
