Job Description
A prestigious medical school in the Southeast Neurology Department is seeking a program director for their core residency program. The position requires someone that has 2-3 years experience outside of residency.
The department offers unique opportunities for training and research in these and other areas: neuroscience ICU care, tele-stroke with rural hospitals, neuroimaging studies of brain aging and dementia, and clinical trial of new therapies in stroke, epilepsy and neuro oncology.
The Medical Center's three-part mission is to improve the lives of its patients by educating tomorrow's health care professionals, by conducting health sciences research, and by providing cutting-edge patient care. A major goal of the Medical Center is the elimination of differences in health status of residents of the state based on race, geography, income, or social status.
Located in the inviting state capital the welcoming city truly exemplifies genuine Southern hospitality. Rich in history, tradition, and philanthropy, our community offers exciting opportunities and a wonderful quality of life. Enjoy an abundance of big-city amenities, including a variety of unique museums and attractions, top-notch restaurants, local events, festivals and entertainment options. Convenient access to a local international airport. Enjoy consistent warm weather year-round.
