Position Overview Join a robust hospital medicine program serving a 339-bed acute care hospital with comprehensive specialty services and an established reputation for clinical excellence. Physicians will focus on inpatient rounding responsibilities within a collaborative team-based model. Practice Highlights 339 Inpatient Beds 36 Dedicated ICU Beds Open ICU Environment Epic EMR with MModal Dictation No Procedures Required Coverage Model Day Team 10 Hospitalist Physicians 3 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants Night Team 2 Hospitalist Physicians 1 Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Clinical Responsibilities Inpatient rounding and patient management Respond to Rapid Response Team activations Respond to Codes Collaborate with consulting specialists Participate in multidisciplinary care planning Specialty Support Comprehensive specialty coverage is available, including: Neurology Orthopedics General Surgery Cardiology Oncology Gastroenterology Academic Environment The hospital serves as a teaching site for: Family Medicine Graduate Medical Education Program Internal Medicine Graduate Medical Education Program Physicians interested in teaching and mentoring residents will find opportunities to participate in medical education.
