Job Description
Description This is a contract, on-site position that provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the community through high-quality eye care services. As a Locum MD in Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and contributing to our commitment to excellence in medical care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and screenings. Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and conditions. Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cataract surgery. Collaborate with other medical professionals for holistic patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Educate patients and their families about eye health and treatment options. Respond to medical inquiries and provide expert advice. Stay current with advancements in ophthalmic technology and medical practices. Requirements MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from an accredited institution. Associate-level experience in Ophthalmology. Board certification in Ophthalmology is highly preferred. Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating eye diseases. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
