Job Description

Our client in Montana is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 21-day assignment starting Oct 21, 2026. This role involves comprehensive inpatient coverage, including morning rounds and managing a 24-hour call schedule from lodging. Responsibilities encompass ordering medications, performing essential procedures like chest tubes and intubation, and attending to newborns upon delivery. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct morning inpatient rounds. Order necessary medications. Provide 24-hour call coverage from lodging. Perform rounding for handoffs on the final day of call. Deliver inpatient care for a Critical Access facility. Execute typical ACLS and ATLS procedures, including chest tubes and intubation. Attend to newborns upon delivery.

Inpatient coverage for a Critical Access facility.
Call Schedule:
24-hour call from lodging with light volumes.
Requirements:
Must perform rounding for handoffs on the last day of call; no lines or vent management required.
Staffing Mix:
