Physician-Owned Urgent Care in Central North Carolina Looking for
Well-Trained Physician Description:
Two busy Urgent Cares are owned by a well-respected private family physician practice, which has been serving the community for over 45 years. Hours are Mon-Fri 8a-8p, Sat 9a-6p, Sun 10a-6p. Work 15 shifts per month, 2 weekends a month. Competitive compensation including bonus potential, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan, etc. Locations in Asheboro and Randleman, NC. Enjoy living in our small community or commute from nearby metropolitan areas of Greensboro, Pinehurst, Chapel Hill, Cary, Salisbury, etc. Full-time and PRN opportunities available. Asheboro, located in the center of North Carolina in the rolling hill of the NC Piedmont, offers: Home of the NC Zoo. Small town feel, rich in art, places to hike, bike, boat, golf, and many other family activities. Within an hour of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, UNC Hospitals, and Duke University. The NC Mountains are two hours west. The NC Beaches are two hours east.
Duties:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and illnesses Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness Perform medical procedures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical research and technology
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, etc.) Valid state medical license and DEA registration Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology Familiarity with critical care practices and procedures Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification as needed.
