Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time, Fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon

Duke Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina is accepting applications for a full-time, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon with interest and/or experience in pediatric and adult retinal diseases to join the collegial vitreoretinal faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology.

Details of the role:

2.5-3.5 days in clinic/week with 1 day in OR/week 1:7 call

Participate in teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and trainees

OR time at our main campus, with outpatient time rotating across the triangle

ROP experience not required

The successful candidate will have:

Completed an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency

Completed an AUPO-accredited VR fellowship

Board certification (current or within the first year of hire) is preferred but not required

Be willing to travel to multiple Duke Eye Center locations throughout the triangle
