Quick Facts:
Mon
  • Fri, 7 am
  • 5 pm; weekend call 1x/month — inpatient 10
  • 15 patients per shift Inpatient gastroenterology call coverage Call response time: 15
  • 30 minutes; call ratio 1:4 Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and sigmoidoscopy required ERCP and EUS not required Weekday and weekend coverage available as separate assignments
