Job Description
Our client in North Carolina seeks a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 60-day assignment beginning Jan 1, 2027. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and involves performing comprehensive gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures, including upper and lower GI, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with various interventions. Responsibilities and Duties Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery versus laser) Upper GI endoscopy With injection of varices Small Bowel biopsy Lower GI endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Rigid Colonoscopy with biopsy Colonoscopy with excision of polyp
