Locums About the Facility This 114-bed inpatient hospital operates as part of a health system providing obstetric and gynecologic services in North Carolina. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support continuous inpatient care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Pediatric transport support is available through a nearby hospital to assist with cases requiring specialized pediatric resources. About the Facility Location Top sights in Eastern North Carolina to see include the Biltmore, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the North Carolina Zoo! About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) at an on-site 114-bed hospital in North Carolina, with coverage dates in October and December 2026 through January 2027. Clinical responsibilities are limited to inpatient care, with an average census of 2 patients and an average of 1 admission per day and 1 per night; no ICU responsibilities are required, and clinicians will not be expected to respond to codes. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and pediatric transport support is available from a nearby hospital. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required; NRP certification is required if the assignment exceeds 6 months.
