Job Description
Physician (Chief of Emergency Medicine) Emergency Department Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) - Salisbury VA Medical Center Join our dedicated 24/7 Emergency Department team! We are seeking a full-time board-certified physician to serve as Medical Officer of the Day, working flexible 8-12-hour shifts (approximately 80 hours per pay period) covering both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, stabilize, and manage emergency department patients Respond to Code Blue, Code Red, and rapid response calls Provide inpatient and emergency coverage including disaster response Supervise medical students and residents as needed Participate in performance improvement, peer review, and committee activitiesBenefits Include:
