The Salisbury VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board-certified anesthesiologist to join our dedicated team. The staff anesthesiologist works under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesiology as part of an interdisciplinary team. This physician is responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Department of Surgery/Anesthesiology section, ensuring high-quality clinical services alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and support staff.

Board-certified with at least 3 years of experience
Position Highlights:
Monday-Friday:
7:00AM -3:30PM or until the OR has finished.
Call Coverage:
Shared among MDs.
This position will be based in Salisbury. However, if candidate lives in Charlotte, they will be scheduled at the CLT HCC some days, if they live in Winston or Greensboro they would be scheduled at the Kern HCC some days.
No cardiac, no ICU coverage, no chronic pain. We do 99% supervision and blocks for acute pain mostly related to surgery.
Requirements:
Board Certified/ Eligible in Anesthesiology
Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any State.
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Residency Training must have been completed, approved by the secretary of Veteran Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.

50 55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME).
