Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient. Procedural skills per department or practice guidelines. days a week to cover orthopedic urgent care and walk in evaluation including sprains strains fractures in patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics. Responsibilities include patient assessments, in office procedure such as injection, aspirations, I&D, fracture reduction, splinting and casting. Cast tech and radiology tech support on site. Be a part of an orthopedic team including 9 APPs and 9 surgeons with specialties on site including orthopedic joint replacement, sports medicine, pediatrics, foot and ankle, hand/upper extremity, and trauma providers. Weekly admin time with full time employment. No surgical or call duties included.Variable Shift Job Summary :
Participates in team focused patient care by means of patient examinations augmented by diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations/ interventions in the medical and/or surgical theatres of health care.
