Job Description
A Rural Health System in Jefferson County, Nebraska is seeking a dynamic and well-rounded, Family Medicine Physician interested in providing a wide range of services to patients of all ages. Clinic, Hospital and ED work required within a 17-bed critical access hospital. Both locum tenens and permanent positions available! See details below.
Summary and Scope:
This role includes providing care in both outpatient and inpatient settings to all ages, performing minor procedures, offering preventive and acute care, and serving as an emergency backup, and floating to other departments as needed. Obstetric care is optional. The physician works collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal health outcomes.Schedule:
Clinic work Monday thru Thursday (3 weeks out of the month) Monday through Friday (1 week out of the month) ER call 1:4 back-up call PA is primary call.Specialists that may be available:
