Interventional Radiology Locum Opportunity in Nebraska We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join a distinguished healthcare facility in Nebraska. The facility is a Level II trauma center, playing a crucial role in the community's healthcare infrastructure. Opportunity Highlights Join a respected healthcare system as a locum tenens Interventional Radiologist. Engage in a broad-based IR practice, including spine procedures, ports, and central line placements. Perform solid organ biopsies, drainages, oncology interventions, and image-guided therapies. Contribute to maintaining the hospital's Level II trauma status, ensuring critical care access for the community. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements. Practice Setting and Clinical Scope Located in a vibrant city in Nebraska, this 175-bed hospital, including a psychiatric unit, offers a diverse range of clinical experiences. As part of the Interventional Radiology team, you will cover essential services that include kyphoplasty, breast biopsies, and more. The facility utilizes the
EPIC EMR
system, ensuring seamless integration and documentation of patient care. Schedule and Assignment Details This locum assignment is designed to provide continuity and stability, with coverage needed due to the resignation of a previous provider. The role offers a predictable schedule with weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Candidates must be ready to start as soon as possible, with specific start and end dates to be determined. Support and Work Environment Join a collaborative team environment with dedicated technologists and nursing support. A Physician Assistant is available to assist with barium work, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, ensuring comprehensive support for the Interventional Radiology services. This position is perfect for a physician who thrives in a team-oriented setting and values cooperative work dynamics. Qualifications Board Certification in Interventional Radiology is required. Possession of a Nebraska license is highly preferred, or eligibility for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is required. A clean background and malpractice history are highly preferred.
