A leading 131-bed acute care facility in Norfolk, Nebraska, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director and Attending Physician for its Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and outpatient PM&R clinic. This position offers the opportunity to shape the rehabilitation program while enjoying a financially stable practice with excellent administrative support.
Position Highlights:
  • Dual Role:
    Medical Director for the 7-bed Inpatient Rehab Unit and attending physician in the outpatient PM&R clinic
  • Outpatient Focus Areas:
    EMGs, Botox, spasticity management, MSK pathologies, hospital discharge follow-ups, and new referrals
  • Inpatient Case Mix:
    Stroke, neurologic disorders, hip fractures, trauma, amputations, complex medical/debility patients, mild-moderate SCI, and mild brain injuries
  • Staffing:
    80% of RNs are CRRN-certified; well-trained nursing and therapy teams
Location:
Rehab unit located on hospital's main campus for convenient consult access
