Job Description
Description MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician to join our team as a Per Diem hospitalist in a community hospital setting in North Conway, New Hampshire. Join us and you will also find supportive, collaborative colleagues; strong patient/provider relationships; comprehensive resources and advanced technologies, including fully integrated Epic EMR. Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that offers a friendly team setting with a collaborative approach to patient care. The successful candidate will join our current highly skilled Hospitalist physician team and supervised APP providers for daytime coverage, and physician nighttime coverage. Nocturnist shifts available with Daytime shifts will work alongside an APP provider as well as another Hospitalist. The Hospital Medicine Service admits and cares for patients with a range of medical diagnoses. In addition, when appropriate, the team will admit and medically manage orthopedic and surgical patients in consultation with those specialties. Preoperative and ED consultative services are provided. Our Hospitalists also provide critical care, including ventilator management with fulltime onsite Respiratory Therapy support. The ability to perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, paracentesis and thoracentesis is preferred but not required.
