Job Description
Join an established orthopedic practice in Littleton, NH as a full‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with orthopedic experience and proficiency in trigger point injections. You will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care in a collaborative setting within a 25‑bed critical access hospital that serves as one of the region's largest facilities and offers multiple specialty services. Key responsibilities Evaluate patients and review histories to diagnose orthopedic conditions (fractures, sprains, arthritis, etc.). Order and interpret diagnostic studies (x‑ray, MRI, labs) and incorporate findings into care plans. Develop and manage treatment plans, including medications, physical therapy, injections, and referrals for surgery when appropriate. Perform office‑based and procedural interventions and assist with operative cases (arthroscopy, fracture management, joint procedures) as defined by scope of practice and supervision guidelines. Prescribe and monitor rehabilitation regimens and educate patients on injury prevention and musculoskeletal health. Coordinate care with surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, and other team members. Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers. Qualifications Current and valid Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license. New Hampshire state license and DEA registration required. Demonstrated experience in orthopedics and competency with trigger point injections. Compensation & benefits Salary range: $110,000-$130,000. Medical, dental, vision, disability coverage.
