We are seeking 2 experienced Neonatology APPs to provide dedicated coverage for our Level II Special Care Nursery & Well-Baby Nursery . Enjoy versatile shift options (12s or 24s), a manageable patient load, full EPIC integration, and strong collaborative support from Respiratory Therapy and experienced L&D staff.Key Position Highlights & Perks Flexible Scheduling:
Choose between 12-hour shifts (7A-7P / 7P-7A) or 24-hour shifts to fit your lifestyle and maximize income.No On-Call Duties:
Enjoy your time off without carrying a pager—a Neonatologist from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is on call for telephone backup.Balanced Workload:
Manage a manageable daily census of 10-12 patients (approx. 5 nursery + 5 deliveries).Modern EMR:
Streamlined charting powered by fully integratedEPIC EMR
.Immediate Need:
Fast-tracked onboarding available for qualified local candidates ready to start ASAP. Clinical Responsibilities Provide high-quality care across the Well-Baby Nursery and Level II Special Care Nursery . Attend high-risk vaginal deliveries, all C-sections, or as requested by OB. Perform Neonatal Resuscitation independently when required. Conduct night flowsheet rounds, nurse check-ins, and evaluate neonates overnight as clinical issues arise.Candidate Requirements Licensure:
Active New Jersey State License & Active DEA.Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).Core Skills:
Must be fully comfortable with autonomous Neonatal Resuscitation and solo Level II nursery coverage.Location:
