Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on urological health. Diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, bladder problems, and cancers. Perform or assist in complex surgical procedures related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system. Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques and interpret diagnostic radiology results to inform treatment strategies. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as oncology, cardiology, nephrology, and radiology to develop comprehensive care plans. Manage preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring optimal recovery and patient safety during perioperative periods. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or similar platforms, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialized training in Urology from an accredited residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Urology is required; post-residency experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic Strong knowledge of medical imaging modalities including CT scans, ultrasound, and diagnostic radiology relevant to urology. Experience performing surgical procedures involving the urinary tract, prostate, kidneys, or male reproductive organs. Familiarity with anesthesia protocols related to urological surgeries and perioperative care practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and primary care providers. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team coordination; commitment to compassionate patient care.
