This role focuses on the evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders in a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment.
Compensation:
$250
Per Hour Assignment Overview Practice Setting:
Outpatient clinic only
Patient Population:
Adults ages 22 and older, predominantly geriatric
Coverage Need:
Ongoing locums support Schedule Days per
Week:
Minimum of 4 days per week required
Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
Days:
Flexible based on provider availability No call, no weekends
Patient Volume Daily Mix:
Combination of new and follow-up patients Approximately 3-4 new patients per day Approximately 6-8 follow-up visits per day Typical Conditions Treated Alzheimer's disease Dementia (including Parkinson's-related dementia) Cognitive impairment and memory disorders

EMR System:
Epic Requirements Completion of a Cognitive Neurology and/or Behavioral Neurology Fellowship Dementia Fellowship strongly preferred Board certification or eligibility in Neurology Active or eligible New Jersey medical license Strong experience in outpatient cognitive and dementia care Hackensack is a vibrant suburban city just outside New York City, offering easy access to Manhattan, diverse dining and cultural options, and a convenient blend of urban amenities with residential neighborhoods. #AAS
