Requirements:
Excellent computer skills. Pre-certification and Navinet experience is a plus. Professional appearance. Ability to multi-task. Must be courteous and friendly with good communication skills. Must have a good attitude about learning new things. Responsibilities include Collecting patient copayments, processing payments, performing data entry, and managing general medical front desk responsibilities. Escorting patients to examination rooms, documenting the chief complaint, recording vital signs, and obtaining relevant medical history and other pertinent information. Communicating with patients by phone to schedule appointments, answer general questions, and follow up regarding outstanding account balances. Accurately entering and maintaining patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating office calendars efficiently. Preparing and submitting superbills to the billing company and assisting with follow-up on billing discrepancies or errors. Maintaining accurate, organized, and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Providing courteous and professional service to patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members. Assisting with additional administrative, clinical support, and patient-related duties as needed to ensure smooth daily office operations.
