RWJBH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Neurosciences department at the New Brunswick campus,Essential Functions:
This is aNIGHT ONLY APP
role to support patients in the neuroscience division, In collaboration with Rutgers attending faculty and the neurology residency program the APP will be expected to provide overnight coverage of patients admitted to the general neurology consult service, the stroke consult service and facilitate acute code stroke evaluation and treatment APPs will also be expected to adhere to stroke protocols to ensure alignment with the comprehensive stroke designation atRWJUH New Brunswick, Education:
Graduate of an Acute Care NP program Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programExperience:
Ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of inpatient or acute patient care experience in Neurology and/or acute stroke care with a desire for overnight inpatient work Would consider the right new graduate APP Must be adaptable and able to handle a high volume, high acuity service line Must work well under pressure with a demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions in a timely manner related to code stroke patientsLicenses and Certifications:
