Overview Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Urologist to join the medical staff at St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive urology practice within a well-established community hospital that serves a diverse and growing patient population in Northern New Jersey. The selected physician will provide high-quality urologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings while working collaboratively within Prime Healthcare's mission-driven, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions, including: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones) Urinary tract disorders Urologic malignancies Male reproductive and sexual health conditions Perform urologic procedures and surgeries consistent with training, experience, and granted privileges Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-up care Participate in shared call coverage per department policy Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine, oncology, and ancillary services Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record Adhere to Prime Healthcare policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and patient safety programs Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (American Board of Urology) Eligibility for New Jersey medical licensure Eligibility for DEA registration and hospital credentialing Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to evidence-based medicine, ethical practice, and patient-centered care Pay Transparency
