Job Title:
Psychiatrist (Per Diem) - $300 per consult About the Company Healthcare Commons, Inc. is a not-for-profit, licensed community mental health agency that has served Salem County for more than 70 years, as well as parts of Cumberland and Gloucester counties. Across multiple locations, we provide a full range of behavioral health and support services for children, adolescents, and adults, including outpatient counseling, partial care, crisis intervention, residential services, case management, and family support programs. Conveniently located near Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Southern New Jersey, we are proud to be a trusted resource for individuals and families across the region. About the Role This role supports the designated screening center for Salem County. Key Responsibilities- Psychiatric evaluation and management via telehealth and in-person as needed
- The prescription and monitoring of medication
- Participation in planning of alternatives to hospitalization
- Consultation with screeners and crisis intervention specialists
- Consultation with emergency room physicians involved in the case and those at the receiving facility
- Completion of the screening certificate
