The flagship hospital in the highly-esteemed Virtua Health system in south Jersey, this opportunity offers flexible scheduling, an excellent work-life balance, and a group of seasoned physicians and APCs who will welcome you home. This 58,000 annual volume emergency department offers up to 70 hours of physician coverage daily, along with APC support. Enjoy the practice of medicine in an established department in a premier south Jersey hospital. Virtua Voorhees has a history of providing nationally-recognized care, and we invite you to be a part of that! A designated Primary Stroke Center and recognized by U.S. News & World report as one of the best regional hospitals for the treatment of heart failure, stroke care, COPD, and diabetic emergencies, Virtua Voorhees offers first-class Emergency Medicine care to the residents of Camden County. We are now conducting interviews for a full-time staff position. Qualified candidates should be residency-trained and board-eligible or board-certified in emergency medicine. Experienced physicians and newly-graduating residents are encouraged to apply. Competitive compensation with hourly rate of $210 to $220 hourly with the opportunity to earn RVU incentives. This is an independent contractor position.
