Primary Care Physician Location:
Artesia, NM About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to lead on-site health and wellness services for a value-based primary care center. This position replaces high-volume, fee-for-service medicine with a direct primary care model focused on relationship-driven, whole-person care. You will manage a small, dedicated patient panel with low administrative burden and no volume-based quotas. Key Differentiators

Ample time to conduct thorough physical exams, address complex conditions, and focus on preventive health and patient education.
    No RVU or Volume Targets:
    Clinical metrics prioritize patient health outcomes, satisfaction, and engagement over daily patient throughput.

      Minimal charting and billing overhead, allowing focus on broad-scope primary care practice.
        Dedicated Care Team:
        Clinical leadership backed by an on-site Medical Assistant, Patient Advocate, and Clinical Director.
        Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care:
        Provide episodic, preventive, and primary healthcare services tailored to patient needs.
        Treatment Planning:
        Develop personalized, long-term health plans in collaboration with patients.
        Clinical Evaluations:
        Perform comprehensive health-risk assessments, routine physicals, and medical history reviews.
        Specialty Coordination:
        Refer patients to specialist care and external medical resources when required.
        Clinical Leadership:
        Guide and support the health center's multidisciplinary team to maintain a collaborative environment.
        Goal Alignment:

        Qualifications Required Qualifications Experience:
        1+ years of post-residency clinical practice experience.
        Licensure:
        Current, unrestricted state medical license to practice in New Mexico.
        Board Status:
        Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
        Certifications:
        Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
        Compliance & Skills:
        Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA regulations, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
