MountainView Medical Group, affiliated with MountainView Regional Medical Center is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Orthopedic Surgeon (Adult Reconstruction fellowship welcomed) to join an established, high-demand practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Serving as the healthcare hub for a primary service area of over 225,000+ residents across Southern New Mexico, this position offers a seamless transition with immediate patient volume. Demonstrating a strong commitment to quality, MountainView Regional Medical Center is one of only two hospitals in New Mexico to earn a Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade, while also holding The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval and Advanced Certification for Total Joint Replacement.

About Your Work:
  • Employed, full-time, well-respected practice
  • Join 3 physicians and 2 APPs
  • Anticipated call 1:4 covering a single hospital
  • Level III trauma 22-bed ED (48,000 ED visits in 2025)
  • 168-bed hospital with 8 modern OR suites, dedicated blocks, MAKO availability, high-definition fluoroscopy, efficient and tenured OR team with First Assist, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.
  • Athena EMR + Suki AI scribe technology
  • Fully-equipped clinic with experienced support team; clinic adjacent to medical center
  • Established referral network supported by 18 physician clinics, a 10-bed freestanding ED, 3 urgent care centers, and dedicated outreach/marketing support.
  • Robust multidisciplinary support such as IP/OP therapy, MSK radiologists, Infusion therapy, Interventional Pain Management, PM&R, and athletic partnerships with New Mexico State University.
