Job Description

Family Practice Physician (MD) - Full Time We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD) to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. This position is ideal for a physician who is comfortable treating patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults , and who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Schedule Full-time position Four 10-hour shifts per week
Hours:
8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Rotating schedule: Monday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Friday Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Conduct routine physical examinations, preventive health screenings, and wellness visits. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop and manage individualized treatment and care plans. Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication therapies as clinically appropriate. Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. Provide patient and family education regarding preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices. Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the electronic health record. Provide compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining patient safety and quality standards. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) with experience in Family Practice/Primary Care. Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license required. Current Nevada Controlled Substance (CDS) registration and DEA registration required. Current BLS certification required. Must be comfortable and qualified to provide primary care to patients of all ages, beginning at 1 day old. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in a busy primary care environment. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Family Practice Physician who enjoys providing continuity of care across the lifespan and is comfortable managing a diverse primary care patient population. The physician should be collaborative, dependable, and committed to delivering an excellent patient experience.
